We are thrilled to announce that Shared Studios has received an investment from JLL Spark, the venture capital arm of global real estate company JLL, with the participation of Asymmetry Ventures and the Phoenix Venture Fund. This investment will enable us to bring our innovative life-size digital audio-visual conferencing solution to even more customers and to launch a new product specifically targeted to corporate offices and businesses.
Our vision is to create fully immersive audio-visual experiences that connect people from different parts of the world as if they were in the same room without headsets. This solution has the potential to enhance communication, increase trust, facilitate innovation, and enable extended meetings without the fatigue that comes from traditional video conferencing. Additionally, our solution can help companies reduce travel costs and lower their carbon footprint.
Shared Studios has had great success using its technology to connect far away people at events, create authentic marketing moments, and promote educational and social impact causes with customers including Google, The Coca-Cola Company Juniper Networks, Twitter, The White House, Museum for the United Nations - UN Live, Harvard University, Yale University and many others.
With this investment from JLL Spark, Shared Studios is excited to expand our presence to corporate environments. JLL Spark's expertise in managing large real estate holdings and its worldwide presence will help Shared Studios develop and scale its technology and bring it to companies of all sizes.
As Raj Singh, Managing Partner at JLL Spark and now a member of the Shared Studios board, says, “We're excited to partner with Shared Studios to help bring their innovative technology to even more companies around the world. We believe that the future of work encompasses hybrid and remote, and that Shared Studios’ life-size video solution allows organizations to significantly improve their ability to collaborate and innovate while remote, as well as build and maintain vital company culture.”
We’re thrilled about this new partnership to redefine the way companies communicate and collaborate, contributing to our vision of improving communication and connecting people in every part of the world.
